Are we all lying to each other…how the f*%#k are people affording to live in Vancouver?
Today I read an article in the Vancouver Sun, which stated that the cost of affording house in Vancouver has risen by just over 3%. What this means is that the combined cost of mortgage payments, utilities and property taxes costs the average Vancouverite 88.9% of their household income. Pause and let that sink in…88.9%.
