A Vancouver tradition: The Circle Craft Christmas Market – Win tickets!!
The first Circle Craft Christmas Market was held in East Vancouver in 1973. Each year since, generations of Vancouverites and visitors have attended, enjoying “…a Market where they come face to face with fine BC and Canadian artisans and their work: wood-turners, glassblowers, sculptors and potters, clothing and jewellery designers, toy-makers, and many more.”
This year’s Circle Craft Christmas Market will be no exception. Over 300 artisans from all disciplines (including pottery, wood, glass, metal, fibre, fashion, and jewellery) will show and sell their wares. A great place to get a start on some early gift shopping, while supporting local small businesses and artists. Some of the vendors at this year’s market will include:
- Lajla (Vancouver, BC) – crocheted hats, handwarmers and scarves
- Braden Hammond Glass (Vancouver, BC) – glass art and jewellery
- Indian Summer Leather (Gabriola Island, BC) – leather bags & purses
- Patouche (Toronto, ON) – designer children’s clothing
- Hitomi Mckenzie (New Westminster, BC) – porcelain functional ceramics/ cups, plates, bowls, jugs, goblets
- Chi’s Creations (West Vancouver, BC) – handmade contemporary silver, gold jewellery with pearls and stones
- Adhesif Clothing Co. (Vancouver, BC) – one of a kind eco-chic apparel

I have been to the circle craft fair 3 times, and this will be my 4th. Every year I go I enjoy it a lot! For those who have not made it out yet, I strongly suggest that you do!
This is such a great place to do Christmas shopping!
