Behind the Scenes at Maplewood Farm
We haven’t been in a while, but my kids absolutely LOVE Maplewood Farm. If you haven’t been you must go. Take your own children, or, if you don’t have any be a sport and give some deserving friends a break and take their kids!!
In the coming weeks, children will get a ‘Behind the Scenes’ look into the operation of the Farm. Activities include egg collection and washing, animal grooming, setting up feed and exploring “Staff Only” areas. Session goes for about one hour.
Children must be pre-registered and pre-paid. Cost is $22.50 for one adult and one child.

I love Maplewood Farm. What a great opportunity for city kids to learn a bit about farming and where some of their food actually comes from. My daughter loves the goats best I think. I didn’t know about this behind the scenes tour but it sounds like fun!
I love the goats!
I love the guinea pigs best! Sprout spent the most time with the bunnies last time, I think. I think he really liked feeding them.
petunia pig is my fave!
I like the cows. Love their big eyes, particularly Lima’s
My favourite farm animals are the ducks because my kids always have such a great time feeding them.
I love goats because they are so cute! Plus their milk makes yummy cheese!
